Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your day-to-day interaction with the Learn Indonesian Easy Way platform — including how you access lessons, use features, and engage with content.

These Terms work alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, which cover payment, legal liability, and data handling respectively. If there is a conflict between documents, the Terms & Conditions take precedence.

You may use the Service if you are at least 13 years of age. Users between 13 and 18 years of age must have parental or guardian consent.

By using the Service, you confirm that the information you provided during registration is accurate and that you are using the platform for personal, non-commercial learning purposes only.

You are permitted to:

• Access lessons, exercises, and vocabulary content included in your plan
• Take notes and screenshot content for your own personal study
• Use the contact form to submit questions or feedback
• Share your progress (XP, streaks) on social media for personal use
• Access the Service from multiple personal devices using one account

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension without refund:

• Sharing your account credentials with others
• Recording, downloading, or redistributing video or audio lesson content
• Using the platform to train AI models or for automated data extraction
• Submitting false or misleading information in the contact form or profile
• Attempting to bypass content locks or subscription access controls
• Using browser extensions or scripts to manipulate lesson progress or XP
• Posting abusive or inappropriate content through any platform feature

Lesson content is made available based on your subscription plan. Access rules are as follows:

• Free users: the first 5 topics of Level 1, Module 1 only
• Premium users: all topics across Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3
• Tutoring is purchased separately from the Premium learning plan.

Content is delivered sequentially. Topics within a module are accessed in order. You may revisit any completed topic at any time. Exercise attempts are limited to 2 per topic. After 2 attempts, correct answers are revealed and you may review but not re-earn XP for that topic.

The platform tracks your learning through an XP (experience points) system and a daily streak counter.

• XP is earned the first time you successfully complete a topic's exercises
• Replaying a completed topic does not earn additional XP
• Your streak increases by 1 for each calendar day you complete at least one topic
• Streaks reset if you miss a full day without completing any topic

XP and streak data are for motivational purposes only. They do not constitute any form of currency, entitlement, or transferable value.

You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account. To keep your account secure:

• Use a strong, unique password not shared with other services
• Do not log in on shared or public computers without logging out afterwards
• Contact us immediately at hello@learnindonesianeasyway.com if you suspect unauthorised access

We are not liable for any loss caused by unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to keep your credentials secure.

We aim to provide the Service 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control may cause temporary downtime.

We will endeavour to notify users of planned maintenance in advance where possible. No compensation or refund is provided for temporary unavailability unless downtime is prolonged and material.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, YouTube videos embedded in lessons). These are provided for convenience only.

We have no control over third-party content and accept no responsibility for it. Accessing third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

The presence of a third-party link does not imply endorsement by Learn Indonesian Easy Way.
